RECURRING MONTHLY GIVING

Is a convenient way to provide steady support to organic farmers. Your monthly donation allows OFRF to focus resources on the immediate issues and projects that affect organic farmers the most. To set up a recurring monthly gift, please call 831-426-6606.

GIFTS OF STOCKS AND SECURITIES

OFRF welcomes gifts of stocks and other saleable securities. A number of our supporters have made gifts of stock to OFRF over the last decade. These gifts may be liquidated and deposited into our general fund accounts, unless otherwise directed by the donor. OFRF has established an account with a major brokerage firm for the express purpose of receiving gifts of stocks, bonds, and other financial instruments.  Please download and complete a stock gift form.

If you have appreciated stocks and are facing significant tax liabilities when you liquidate a portion of your portfolio, then making a gift of stock to OFRF may help you recognize significant tax savings while also supporting our work. OFRF ENDOWMENT FUND

In 1993, the OFRF Board of Directors established an OFRF Endowment Fund aimed at ensuring long-term sustainability for the organization. We have not yet conducted a major endowment campaign, but a community of dedicated OFRF supporters have made gifts from $15 to $50,000 to the Endowment Fund since 1993.

The Fund currently stands at more than $100,000.  Several thousand dollars in interest revenue are added each year along with new gifts. Donations of all types and sizes are accepted for the Endowment Fund, including honorary and memorial gifts, planned gifts and gifts of securities.

If you are interested in helping to establish a secure future for the ongoing work of OFRF, please consider making a gift to our Endowment Fund. Contributions which may simply be accompanied by a notation “Endowment Fund.”

"I give, devise, and bequeath to the Organic Farming Research Foundation, 303 Potrero Street, Suite 29-203, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 the sum of $______ to be used for general purposes."

"I give, devise, and bequeath to the Organic Farming Research Foundation, 303 Potrero Street, Suite 29-203, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 all (or_____%) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, to be used for its general purposes."

"If any of the above-named beneficiaries should predecease me, I bequeath his or her share of my estate to the Organic Farming Research Foundation, 303 Potrero Street, Suite 29-203, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 to be used for its general purposes."
